10:00 Join the fun at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse at our beloved annual Apple Day event! Explore special heritage fruit varieties with the East of England Apples and Orchards Project, and have your own orchard fruit identified (bring samples and/or images). Visit Union Farm for traditional steam threshing demonstrations, and to greet our East Anglian rare breed animals. Enjoy performances of Clark & Zuppardi’s folk music and from Golden Star Morris. Eat and drink with our own Mardler’s Rest café and pop up, locally reared pork products from Owie’s, and plant-based options from Rambling Roots. Get stuck in with stalls of arts, crafts, trinkets and treats from our fantastic visiting vendors – and a cup of cider or two from Norfolk Raider. See the historic 1899 Panhard on display, and watch the 1922 Farmers Foundry engine steaming up. Pop into the Folklore Cottage takeover with Wayward Adventurers Guild, or enter our Norfolk folklore-themed costume competition (prize giving at 12noon)!
